🧭 Governance in Praxis
📰 Governance in Praxis
By Kona Lisa Mahu
Every society is governed by something.
Sometimes it is governed by fear. Sometimes by tradition. Sometimes by competition, power, or economic necessity. At its best, governance is guided by shared values and a commitment to the common good.
In previous pathways, we explored the personal practices that cultivate awareness, ethical discernment, and collaborative relationships. This pathway asks a larger question:
How do those same capacities shape the communities and institutions we build together?

Governance is stewardship expressed through shared decision-making, ethical leadership, and responsibility for the common good.
Planetary Stewardship Pathways
Our personal and relational development ultimately shapes the societies we create. This pathway examines governance, sustainability, technology, and the structures that support—or hinder—the flourishing of humanity. It invites us to consider what responsible stewardship looks like in an increasingly interconnected world.
Within the framework of a third-stage democracy (or Stage 3), the political process evolves from a rigid and intermittent system into a highly participatory, continuous, and adaptable one.
How do we live well without harming the future? Exploring practical sustainability, resilience, ecological awareness, and planetary well-being.
